Project Requirement
For this project, the consultant was looking for a fire protection system that ensures safety, reliability, and long-term performance. As the project involved high-rise residential towers, it was crucial to have a system that met stringent fire safety standards while being lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to install.
The consultant required a fire suppression solution that could withstand high temperatures, prevent leakage, and offer long-term durability without requiring frequent maintenance. Given the project’s premium residential nature, the selected system also needed to be aesthetically adaptable and compliant with international safety norms.
Moreover, with the presence of a high-rise tower and dense occupancy, the fire protection system needed to ensure fast response, minimal downtime, and long-term reliability.

Semac Consultants Pvt Ltd was assigned the responsibility of designing Fire Sprinkler system with space management.
The scope of services included MEP Engineering and Fire Fighting (FF) services design.
Semac Consultants Pvt Ltd has 50+ years of experience in delivering value added and reliable technical consultancy services in the field of Architectural, structural, MEP, HVAC and FF to variety of projects which includes residential, commercial, institutional , industrial, etc. with exposure of International design services.

The builder was looking for a new technology which would be maintenance free and can be installed faster for optimum utilization of the resources and provide saving in terms of manpower, installation time, material and prove to be a value addition to the project.
In addition, in terms of the safety function of the system for long years, the concern on future corrosion in pipes which can result in failure of system or blocking the sprinkler head had to be addressed. In short, the asset owner was looking for the system which can function properly over a long period of time without worrying about his clients residing in the homes built by them.
Basically, they were looking for solutions other than the metal piping for sprinkler system that would make sure the right replacement to conventional metal piping for fire sprinkler system.

Considering the requirement of the builder, the Ashirvad team worked along with the consultant and in-house MEP team of the builder and proposed the BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler System as the best solution for their requirement.
Ashirvad’s technical design team supported the project with drawings and BOQ calculation, hydraulic calculation for piping sizing and sprinkler placements. One the key suggestions was to limit the length to 125 meter so 2 shafts were considered in the design. Interior flow of pipes has been designed to save space.
BlazeMaster CPVC is Fire Protection system is corrosion free and always ensures 100% flow of water from the sprinkler heads. Moreover, the lead times are shorter due to faster installation with less manpower. This results in minimal delays and on-time project delivery.

The Phoenix Aquila is a commercial project strategically located in the heart of the Financial District in Hyderabad. The property aimed to create an Iconic landmark in the Finance District of Hyderabad that was a blend of aesthetical and functional excellence.
It comprises of 2 Blocks – Block ‘A’ and Block ‘B’. The total construction area for both the towers is approx. 26.90 lakhs sq. ft. The Block ‘A’ structure has 3 basements + Ground Floor + 7 MLCP Floors + 16 Typical Office floors. The building height from the basement is 105.83m and the total construction area is approx. 18.10 Lakhs sq. ft. The Block ‘B’ also has 3 Basements + Ground Floor + 16 Typical office floors. The building height from the basement is 82.3 m and the total construction area is approx. 8.80 Lakhs sq. ft.

Adithi Consultants was assigned with the responsibility of designing Phoenix Aquila, a flagship campus in the most spacious Financial district. The scope of services included Master Planning, Building Design, C/S Engineering, M&E Engineering, and Interior Design. Adithi Building Service Consultants is an engineering design consultancy firm that exists to provide value-added and reliable technical consultancy services in the field of Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Fire Fighting (FF) services since 2015.

For this project, Adithi Consultants was looking for new and better technology for the drainage ventilation system. As the building elevation is completely designed with insulated glass the drainage shafts were supposed to be designed inside the building.
As the drainage shaft had to be a part of the interior of the building it became very crucial for the consultant to ensure proper air ventilation and no foul smell from drainage to pollute the interiors. Environment sustainability was of the major concern to the project team as there was an upcoming hospital (700 bedded) and a residential project (2000-unit) next to the Phoenix Aquila. There was a need for a reliable and sustainable system that was sustainable, efficient, and safe for the environment and its people.
