Aliaxis has officially opened a brand-new Research & Technology Centre in Bangalore, India. The investment in this R&T Centre confirms Aliaxis’ ambition to further raise the bar in terms of innovation and to continue to develop a strong offering of innovative systems and solutions for water and energy management. The new centre joins the company’s existing facilities in Toronto (Canada) and Paris (France), driving Aliaxis’ R&D ambition to bring more innovation value to its customers.

As such, the Research & Technology Centre is sub-divided into multiple growth enabling categories, including Design & Engineering; Material & Bioengineering; Computational Analysis & Predictive Engineering; Testing & Validation; Digital & AI Technology; and Process Engineering.

The main focus of the school will be on best plumbing practices, occupational health and safety and water and energy conservation. The training includes a comprehensive syllabus covering theory and practice, but also the development of soft skills like basic English language, basic computer knowledge, etc.
The Ashirvad Plumbing School will implement two courses: an Apprentice course and a Master plumber course. The maximum capacity of the school will be 180 students per year: a course of 4 months with 3 batches of 60 students in one year.
